Disney’s animal version of Robin Hood (with the foxes & other awesome animals) is probably one of my favorite Disney movies ever. Tons of great little tunes tucked away in there like the Phony King of England and Oo-De-Lally! Two of my faves for sure. But another one of my faves is the opening whistling theme…

Well, we all know Dr. Dog rocks (btw- their website is pretty great too!), but just to reinforce their awesomeness… their song Someday seems to sample Robin Hood’s whistling tune! I haven’t been able to find anything written about it officially, except for a bunch of speculation…but it makes my day for sure.
